Before You Begin

Welcome to your new custom training equipment! Before diving into your workouts, here are a few important tips to ensure you get the most out of your training experience:

Start Light

Our equipment is designed for versatility. The weights can be easily swapped or removed. When starting a new exercise, we recommend removing the weights entirely. This allows you to focus on getting comfortable with the motion. Once you’ve mastered the movement, gradually add the weights to increase intensity.

Safety Guidelines for Loading the Barbarian Long Bar

The Barbarian Long Bar is a departure from traditional 45-pound barbells. Our innovative design is significantly lighter, allowing for more versatile and dynamic training. However, this unique design comes with specific safety considerations:

1. Load Lightly

Due to the lighter weight of the bar, it is crucial to adjust the amount of weight you load. We recommend loading only 25% to 33% of your maximum weight (compared to what you would typically use with a traditional barbell). This ensures safe and effective use of the bar without compromising stability.

2. Secure Weight Distribution

Weights on the long bar are attached using chains, which may cause the bar to shift if not balanced correctly. When loading each side of the long bar, ensure that the opposite end remains securely on the rack. This prevents the bar from lifting off or tipping over, which could result in injury.

3. Double-Check Stability

Before lifting the long bar off the rack, take a moment to verify that the weights are evenly distributed and that the chains are securely fastened. A quick check can make all the difference in maintaining safety during your workout.

4. Practice Caution with New Movements

If you're new to using the Barbarian Long Bar, take your time to get familiar with how it moves and responds to different exercises. Start with lighter weights and gradually increase as you build confidence and control.

Following these guidelines will help you make the most of your training while ensuring a safe and effective workout. Always prioritize safety and proper form to get the best results from your equipment.
